I vote for D80 or 400D
My personal feel is no pt buy 2nd hand D80 when there are new models available that are having improved noise control and performance. No doubt D80 is a good cam, but for the price of a D60 and a D80 2nd hand, i would recommend a D60. But for guys, the grip of D60 may be too kiddy. Not a full grip.
Btw, fairy, D80 is not exactly the best cam to mod for IR. D70 and D100 are best for IR. So if i am u, i would sell off D80 and buy a D100 or D70 for mod. I think still can get back one hundred bucks. :devil:

I vote for D90 for beginner..the HD video mode is a killer..
Regular guys gg for SIN tmr. I have some comments to share. From experience last year, there will be hardcore GWCs who will be like bees following the US imports whenever they patrol around the exhibition areas. I have to say, I am totally disgusted by these so called photographers who would not spare effort to bang and knock u down just to get up close and personal with the lingerie clad US imports.
For this time round, as we have groupings to stick to, it is inevitable that some of us are first time joining be amazed by the US imports so may out of curiosity and wish to catch a glimpse of the US imports up close and personal. This is no issue but for the team, it would be recommended to maintain contact at all times. In event tat anyone in team is out of range / lost contact, be flexible and join another team if happen to see. The groupings are flexible. I set the groupings so that we do not move arnd in too big a group which may potentially become very squeezy.
These are juz somethings from past SIN that I am sharing. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the cars and models. But do be prepared for rude ppl who bang here and there. I believe in TS, we are a disciplined group who behave ourselves.

good advice...I experienced the same thing last year...alot of GWC and DOMs cheonging and following the US imports around like they neber see women in their live before...very sad...

Why shoot US import mollers when you can shoot our own TS TOP MOLLER
