I sold my B+W slim CPL to a CSer not long ago, looks like now I got to buy back again.

hi coolsigg, I got it directly from a HongKong shop and frieght to my house. total cost of lens plus shipping cost is S$805.00 ( international warrenty ).

I am now looking at getting a Lee filter and Z-PRO (cokin) to fit this lens... tough job.

This lens is really nice, maybe it was because the coating is very new, I find the color reproduction very very impressive, distortion level is also very minimum. :thumbsup:

nice price...perhaps i should pick up some lenses the next time i go HK...:think:

you should.... I heard that sometimes, those camera sold in Japan is also cheaper ( some models only , especially high end ones ).

perhaps , this link can help you to get to those shops easier.

I have been staying in HongKong for 2 solid months , quite firmiliar with the place actaully.

thanks for the link! I usually go there on biz trip and would stay either in PP or Causeway Bay. Been to Times Sq a few times to check out the Broadway and Fortress stores. Wonder if their prices are the same as those in Kowloon. Me sometimes too lazy to cross the Harbour, especially after one whole day of work. :embrass:

Just got back my 1D from CSC... and I also got a new lens :bsmilie:
Sigma 12-24mm...

image color is very good. Aperture from F/8 and below is very sharp....

Ya very good lens, i have one too...was struggling between nikon AFS 14-24mm or sigma 12-24mm, settled for sigma as nikon too exp!

Wow, 8gb..naka shooting a lot! Make sure ur fileter is slim one, else later kanna vignette.

Cool...got mine 2nd hand at $600..on a 1.3x crop filter may have vignette...so jagar.
