Ikkang, Do you use filter for sunrise/sunset shoots? eg ND, reverse ND or sunset/sunrise filter.?

most of the sunrise shots were done with filters ( LEE filter ).

I only have with me now 2 pcs of GND 0.9 SOFT.
No money to get the rest yet. But I hope to get a 0.9 reverse GND, a 0.9 Hard GND, and a polarizing filter. If you wish to sponsor me , I will be most willing to accept...

one more thing. I used to feel that the color was not saturated enough... But ever since I start to use slides, I find that the color is too saturated now :bsmilie: , I often need to de-saturate my shots now... hehe..

becos u use Velvia mah. Velvia is known for its vibrant saturated colors and is the choice of alot of landscape masters. :thumbsup:

hello buttie, I can no longer afford Velvia liao :sweat:

I am using a cheaper slide now. PROVIA 100
Not as good, but good enough for me liao, and much cheaper about 40% cheaper :bsmilie:

I used the lee red color filter until the glass drop and shattered $450 break into pieces. Since then I loss interest on sunrise/sunset shoot. I am thinking of buying reverse ND or the vari duo which bring the landscape shoot to next levels.

You can try to look for HITEC filters . From the reviews, it seems that the quality of the filters are just as good as LEE ones. Dimension of the HITEC filters are the same as LEE filters, hence you are able to use them on your LEE filter holder.

TK Photo is carrying them, you can check it out at their new outlet in funan.

Price wise, is definitely much cheaper then LEE. And the availability of the filters are better, unlike LEE where you need to order and then wait for weeks.

Tis pool is always there at low tide but this time rd with more water and reflections.
