Tonite ghost where watch?

Morning butties....

Thanks Ah Hee for organizing the class again and all the tangs-teachers.

Below are some of my practice photo.

1. Orbt of life

1st attempt, forget to change the picture to square.

2. Orbt of life 2

Hope this look better

3. HDR
4696280898_f39bf2b1eb.jpg

This is my 1st trial and using available photo. I know it doesn't look good, but my main point is to pratise the steps. Other than sky no detail (cos original photo also no clouds) and too dark, any cc can help me to improve it? also what are the things to look out when i take the picture?

4. Masking
4696281790_24c0bb5159.jpg

This is combination of 2 photos with masking process. 1 photo is higher exposure and one is lower.Using mask to reveal the darker exposure on the statute.

Thank you all teachers once again. CC are welcome.

fwah PCKEE sho hardworking.... put theory into practise!!!

For the above shot, try to shift the white/black point and/or gamma slider to the contrast you want. Slide around the colour temperature slider also... it looks a little too warm here. :)

HDR does not work ALL the time especially on scenes no colour details (e.g. backlighting). If you use a -4/+4 exposure on such situations, u will still get a greyish colour tone on the end result.

it works best when u can see details on the clouds, with blue skies, and nicely coloured buildings/lancscapes. best tip is to use a tripork and use low ISO.
