Seminar On Color Management and Digital Workflow

ROUTE TO MARCH (Weight Loss March)

Date: 1st March 08 (Sat)
Starting Time: 7.30am
Route: MacRitchie to Bukit Timah Hill
Gathering place: Two Bus stops in front of MacRitchie Reservoir entrance (along Thomson Road)
This march will cover the route from MacRitchie Reservoir to Bukit Timah Hill Top.
You will witness, the merging of the golf course with the nature, 3 setallite dish, Army personnals, Monkey families, sewage pipes and hidden nature formation.

Interest of shoot:
Landscape, Macros & Nature.

Note:
1) Travel light
2) Good pair of walking shoes
3) Walking sticks for those having walking problem
4) Light refreashments
5) Drinking bottle

Equipments:
1) Basic walk around zoom lens
2) Macro and wide angle lens
3) Tripod & Monopod

Unforseen situations:
1) Weather

UNIQUE CHALLENGE
I decided to have a challenge for this outing. This challenge is to trigger on the spot thinking on photographing a particular subject and to show how the subject is related with the surrounding. It will be an unique subject in a unique location in a particular timing. Particiants will have 15mins to think and shoot the subject. Pictures will be posted in the thread meant for this outing. Only 1 picture per participants. The pictures will be voted by participants who went in this outing.

Of course, a challenge without prize will be boring. So I will sponser a Vanguard hardcase for the picture who has the majority votes.

I will brief further details on the day itself.
Please note this challenge only for those who participated this outing. Cheers!

NOTE:
- The party will be leaving on 7.45am sharp. We'll give the grace of 15mins to latecomers.
- Please hydrate yourself and have ample of rest before the day.
- Please do not feed the monkeys, except Pui Pui
- There will be no toliet along the way until Bukit Timah Service center. :sweat:

NOTE: For all those attending the talk on Sunday. Here are the stuff you can bring along.

1) Camera with lens
2) Notebook (Can bring Desktop if you want)
3) Portable chair (bring if you want to seat on chair else will have to sit on floor)
4) If you have a monitor calibrator you may bring along if you dun know how to use or is not sure.

Also as no one can t-loan projector from office, will have to rent one. As such cost will be split. Prepare to pay plus-minus $6.
