We are going for the single day which is the final event on 23d March 2008, Sunday. PM me your contact details if you wish to join me for the shoot. Do note the cost is SGD138. Bus leave 4.00 a.m. in the morning.. reach before 9 for breakfast.. 11 am for Sepang Main Gallery (portraiture and grab sourvenirs) 1.00 be at K2 site for F18 flight display... 2 - 4 for Porsche Race, PM vintage car round and the main F1 Race.... 5 to be on bus back... 6 in uncertain location for dinner.... 10 to be crossing 2nd link..

ROUTE TO MARCH (Weight Loss March)

Date: 1st March 08 (Sat)
Starting Time: 7.30am
Route: MacRitchie to Bukit Timah Hill
Gathering place: Bus stop in front of MacRitchie Reservoir entrance

This march will cover the route from MacRitchie Reservoir to Bukit Timah Hill Top.
You will witness, the merging of the golf course with the nature, 3 setallite dish, Army personnals, Monkey families, sewage pipes and hidden nature formation.

Interest of shoot:
Landscape, Macros & Nature.

Note:
1) Travel light
2) Good pair of walking shoes
3) Walking sticks for those having walking problem
4) Light refreashments
5) Drinking bottle

Equipments:
1) Basic walk around zoom lens
2) Macro and wide angle lens
3) Tripod & Monopod

UNIQUE CHALLENGE
I decided to have a challenge for this outing. This challenge is to trigger on the spot thinking on photographing a particular subject and to show how the subject is related with the surrounding. It will be an unique subject in a unique location in a particular timing. Particiants will have 15mins to think and shoot the subject. Pictures will be posted in the thread meant for this outing. Only 1 picture per participants. The pictures will be voted by participants who went in this outing.

Of course, a challenge without prize will be boring. So I will sponser a Vanguard hardcase for the picture who has the majority votes.

I will brief further details on the day itself.
Please note this challenge only for those who participated this outing. Cheers!

"TOP OF THE VIEW"

Had been mentioning this outing in past weeks, felt that it's time to show people the top to down view of Singapore. We'll be visiting top floors of those high rise buildings & HDB flats to shoot the scenery on the world below. Will end the trip at a secret location for Sun Set shoot.

I may expect a surprise TFCD on that day. If you can confirm the shoot by sunday, I maybe on.

BTW, I need to make annoucement on the seminar this Sunday. We are seeking projector for the displaying the presentation. Those who are attending, please help to find a projector by end of tomorrow. If not, we may have to rent one and the cost will be shared among 17 participants attending. Cheers!
