ROUTE TO MARCH (Weight Loss March)

Date: 1st March 08 (Sat)
Starting Time: 7.30am
Route: MacRitchie to Bukit Timah Hill
Gathering place: Bus stop in front of MacRitchie Reservoir entrance

This march will cover the route from MacRitchie Reservoir to Bukit Timah Hill Top.
You will witness, the merging of the golf course with the nature, 3 setallite dish, Army personnals, Monkey families, sewage pipes and hidden nature formation.

Interest of shoot:
Landscape, Macros & Nature.

Note:
1) Travel light
2) Good pair of walking shoes
3) Walking sticks for those having walking problem
4) Light refreashments
5) Drinking bottle

Equipments:
1) Basic walk around zoom lens
2) Macro and wide angle lens
3) Tripod & Monopod

Unforseen situations:
1) Weather

UNIQUE CHALLENGE

I decided to have a challenge for this outing. This challenge is to trigger on the spot thinking on photographing a particular subject and to show how the subject is related with the surrounding. It will be an unique subject in a unique location in a particular timing. Particiants will have 15mins to think and shoot the subject. Pictures will be posted in the thread meant for this outing. Only 1 picture per participants. The pictures will be voted by participants who went in this outing.

Of course, a challenge without prize will be boring. So I will sponser a Vanguard hardcase for the picture who has the majority votes.

I will brief further details on the day itself.

You can try David (same name as fatigue, skali same person :bigeyes from P&G Photographic Centre at basement of Adelphi. Price depends on lens, dunno if it's as competitive as fatigue or not..

I have a friend of mine is interested to do a model shoot with a white Honda civic car. She has relatively no modelling experience, but she has done cosplay in last year EOY.
Model could wear different outfits:
1. Mini-skirt
2. punk style
3. chobits style
4. maid style

some possible themes. Pls add on if you have better ideas. Model will have the final say on themes.
1. mini-skirt car pose
2. punky pose for car
3. maid washing car
4. ...

Do you think a reflector is required for such shoot? If so, possible to borrow one reflector for the shoot? I am still yet to plan out the time-table for the shoot, but i am getting the model to have at most three different outfits.
