Billy bbbuttie... both standing side by side cannot have the same composition and frame... coz FF and Crop FOV ish different mah... to have the same, crop shooter have to stand further back in relation to 80mm & 50mm different...so the focal length DOF will have variations and DOF ish de cause of bokeh.

i ish also agree with camel. the so call better bokeh on bigger frame camera is because of the field of view, FOV is different to achieve the same composition.

example on the same 85mm f1.4 on dx compare to full frame, the subject needs to stand closer on a full frame to the camera as compare to the dx to achieve the same composition. therefore subject seems further away from the background, generating better and more creamy bokeh. that ish what i understand.
