depends on wat u want to shoot..
if the place u r visiting has nice sun rise or sun set or nite scene that u want to shoot, then yes!
if shooting mainly streets and day scenery, then no need.
it's very troublesome to bring a tripod out during travelling..can becoming very tiring end up u want to go back hotel early..

I go europe, scandinavia side...last time went to vegas with my mini tripod the immigration gave me a hard time said i bring weapon!!!

I go europe, scandinavia side...last time went to vegas with my mini tripod the immigration gave me a hard time said i bring weapon!!!

Usually need to check in tripork, i rem i was returning prom vietnam taking SQ den i nv check in tripork, when i rch the gate they no wan let mi in so hab to run back to check in counter to check in my tripork
