why not admire things right from your eyes instead of the camera's viewfinder?

many a times during photography, we tend to get that right picture that we don't see the whole picture.

shooting a sport events for example, we miss the gameplay as a whole.

shooting street, we don't enjoy being together that much and less communication

shooting insects, we hunt for them and neglect the beauty of nature on its own

etc etc having no dslr can be a blessing afterall!!!

haha no, i realise from my own experience, sometime back was shooting some acapella at esplanade, free of charge one. It was a fantastic performance, i regretted snapping away. The music was actually more pleasant than any photos that i captured. The photos served no meaning to me actually, was just shooting to practice shooting an indoor event

yes..u r right..some times we have to learn to see..its more important than to snap..

100% agree with this.. that is why, I sometimes prefer to use my handphone to snap events. Don't need to think too much...

Where got think so much one... you like to capture that moment.. snap it, dun regret that u miss the surrounding beauty or overall picture..

A pic froze that one moment in time... give and take but live with your decision lah... dun take liao than decide to see other facets.. okie? Life too short for regrets.. !!
