i asked for the price of the panasonic fx-2. AP quoted me cheaper 546 bucks compared to CP whichis 570. strange sometimes huh....

Am interested in getting a macro lens, but I was initally looking at the Micro Nikkor 60mm.

Anyone has done a shootout with the Nikon 60mm and the Tamron 90mm? Can anyone compare these 2 in terms of quality and sharpness?

Tamron is a better bet, unless you go for nikkor 105 mm micro.

I've also been evaluating which one to get.. Nikkor 105 vs. 60 vs. Tamron 90 DI? I was initially leaning towards the 60mm f2.8..but I felt that it kinda too close to the 50mm f1.8. Anyone wanna do MO? :sweat:

Alternatively, I wouldn't mind doing one if I know how and who to work with. :lovegrin:

Tamron is a better bet, unless you go for nikkor 105 mm micro.

This lens is awesome. I swear by it!

Sorry I wasn't clear with my post earlier.

1. with gst.
2. errr newbie here. will be trying out next week. From the shots I took in the shop colours looks very nice.
3. ok, assuming I know how to post pics here, if not I will link it to a URL.

P.S. By the way, I saw my warranty as 2 years extended local warranty, does this means 3 years warranty?
