My personal opinion only:

If u break down into 3 categories: Price, Quality and Built

Go for nikon if u want: Built n Quality
Go for Tamron if u want: Price n Quality

The nikon feels much more solid if u compare the 2 lens, was almost tempted to get the nikon, but decided to go 4 tamron, since its 3 yrs warranty. No regrets

This is one sweet lens...you really sold me on the quality. Every since I sold my 60mm Nikkor AFD 5 yrs ago...have been meaning to get back to shoting macro shots..your pictures and lens info are getting me all excited and eager to come back into macro fold again. What flash system did you use for this shots?

The 90mm, 100mm or the 105mm is a valuable lens for such magnificent nature work but creativity is the desire to express ourselves. To formulate these expressions, we have to draw from our "reservoir" of experience, dreams, mindset, desires and mix together what was, what is, and what could be. But to keep repeating, your life just fills up this reservoir. How many goes for the 200mm Micro? :sweat:
