Well, you can also add my contact in.
Chun Teck, 96254113.
30s liao already but idle now since I quit my job a long while ago.
But of course don't ask me to reserve a place for you since I'm going in late.
If you are interested to share pictures after the fireworks we can stay overnight at the McDonlads near bugis.
Shoot the first sunrise at Clarke Quay after that or go for night scenery shoot around town.

Haha, I dunno if I will be giving out any advise on fri but I don't mind throwing a few CSers into the water. ;p

Sorry to disappoint you guys, I have shoot from there before. Vibration is not a problem but the fireworks at the level portion will be blocked.
You will have a narrow angle of the fireworks which means overlapping fireworks.

I'll take your word for it, but using Streetview, the area looks quite decent leh... No?

Well, there's no harm trying it out. Don't need to take my advice so seriously since I also say it to someone else before.

"Fireworks is up in the sky, how you want to take it is your own style. Every click, every angle and distance gives a different picture"

The good thing there is you get the Flyer and MBS align either side by side or together.

But please be careful when you run across the expressway, safety is always more important than a few pictures.

lonewolff, will you be going for fireworks later ?

Yes, after the sunset shoot with CleonBus outing.
But I might be going down to the worse location for a fireworks shoot, Promontory.
It is at the downwind with lots of activities there, meaning lots of people.
But it also means blockade might not be up there.

Ok, so we bring a tall tripod?? :dunno:

Yup, I'm bringing a tall tripod and a stool.
Sian, next time I better just write everything down with all the name tags as this is deja vu again.
I dream a lot.

Sorry, I use goggle map to see the entire ECP.
I forgot that the ECP span over to behind the MBS.
It is possible to shoot over ECP at the spot that you wanted, sorry about my mistake. :embrass:
Only challenge now is whether the police will stop you from deploying your tripod there or not. :thumbsd:

try go to Shaw Towers open air carpark (think 11 or 12th storey) and shoot with a UWA if u cannot find any spots near MBS.

i feel that fireworks dun shoot too close up.

anyway i am going elsewhere to shoot fireworks tonite. :)

i am going elsewhere to shoot fireworks tonight. MBS is not the only place that has fireworks although it may be the most grandest fireworks show tonight. :)

hi guys, I'll be going down tonight which part of Marina will you guys be at? :)

The walkway at esplanade drive facing MBS is blocked by boards way above eye level but the pathway is still open. And its raining now...

Any bros know if MBS towards ntuc building is block up?

This is the rough view u will get if u shoot from Shaw Towers open air car park. But not this close. This angle should be from Swissotel (most probably).

The below angle (top left) is for those who wants to shoot near MBS
