Sunrise at Sun Moon Lake

I am still a newbie in photography, just wonder how do u take a photo where the colours of the image can be so rich e.g the sky? Do u use any filters for any enhancement?

It's a pity that I did not cover this area when I was in Taiwan.

I like your pics, esp #1, 2, 3 and 10. :)

Sisters pond
There are little sister pond and big sister pond. The story was about two aboriginal beauties, who fell in love with the same guy. Not wanting to hurt the other, the younger sister committed suicide in little pond and the elder sister committed suicide in the big sister pond.

Thanks jtsky, but what do you mean by GND? PS I believe you refer to Photoshop right?:)

Hi, b1979sg, GND mean Graduated neutral density filter, it can be used to darken a bright sky so that both the sky and subject can be properly exposed. You can read more here. PS mean post process using Photoshop. Thanks.

great photos you got there. i enjoyed every piece of it.

This is the view from the hotel room window, I was lucky the hotel lady upgraded my room to lake view free of charge.

This is really lovely! Your captures of Sun Moon Lake are so beautiful. The time we went there, it was drizzling and seriously nothing much beautiful we can capture of the place. But your morning view of Sun Moon Lake is

Really love all your photos! keep them coming! :D

Thanks, HTCahHTC. I adjusted the saturation of #1 in the critique corner, thanks for the recommendation. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve my photos, Thanks.

Thanks starysnow. Was lucky to get this shot, the hotel lady upgraded my room to lake view room free of charge and somehow I woke up earlier that morning and saw this surprise view from the room balcony. Lucky shot for me!

I didn't cover Hualien nor Alishan in my previous trip to Taiwan, but I will definitely consider revisiting Alishan after looking at your photos. :)
