This year fireworks show last for 288 seconds, 100 seconds more than the standard 188 seconds of new year fireworks. 100 seconds is added to the show as the nation is going to celebrate its 100th founding anniversary next year.
More than 30 000 fireworks used which cost more than NT$60 million (US$2.01 million) and is being touted as the longest, biggest and most expensive of the last six years.

The temple was first built during Ching Dynasty, and undergone several renovations due to damages caused by men. Longshan Temple is now recognized as a Tier-Second historical site of Taiwan, being one of the four must-see attractions in Taipei. The three other must-see attractions include Taipei 101, National Palace Museum and Chiang-Kai Shek Memorial Hall.
How do I go there: Alight at Longshan Temple MRT Station
PS: All the pics in longshan temple will be edited using duplex effect, since i've been wanting to use this effect for street photography for quite sometime. So it's either :heart: it or :bheart: it. And pardon me if the longshan temple series will bored you, since some ppl might find the pics will be monotonous

This is the crowd that came for praying in Longshan Temple. Due to the crowd, I have to go closer to get the shot and having difficulties to get clear background

hahaha, he was focus on litting the candle while I'm snapping him, suddenly he look at me as if he wants to throw the candle to me. ;p
But seriously he's a nice guy, maybe I just caught his "surprised" expression...fiuh...:sweat:
