Half agree. Yes there are some talented ones who can afford to keep switching. Unfortunately cameras nowadays are consumer electronics and like handphones, the next model usually has more features etc. But, there are those who think that by buying full frame, my photos will immediately look better. To some extent yes, less noise, more fine detail, better IQ (in some situations), ability to get shallower dof etc. but if this person has not learnt the basics of composition, lighting, rule of thirds etc.. He won't progress or take aesthetically or compositionally exceptional photos, his shots will be just "meh" kind of shots. So talent and skill are more important than the tool. But of course here in Singapore, many people change cameras like changing handphones... Really a gear acquisition syndrome. Good for us of course. More great deals in BnS.Full frame in a small package. Just for the size, I'm interested. Can't wait to see more video samples from the A7R. BTW, please stop the cliché "it's the man behind the camera and not the camera that matters" Doesn't mean people who keep switching camera system cannot take good pictures. It just happen that they can afford to switch. Can't one be rich and talented? Not me, I'm poor by the way.
Buying camera = expensive hobby Making photos = passionate past time Buying and making = rich passionate hobbyist kekeke, just kidding. Let's all keep buying shooting and smiling! :bsmilie:
Ya If you can afford, why not. Good for the manufacturer and b&s market. Should not be too bothered by people buying.
