It's taken before they light up the front facade, which I think is too bright
different ? very COLD ... and windy ... lor
be sure to have warm , wind breaking beanie to cover your ears when you are camping there for evening shoot ... oh the up side, it freezes my AMS away ... ;p

The county before entering Natmso Lake area (50+ km to go)
We did not make it to Natmso Lake area due to inaccessible bad road condition
The road was frozen with ice, making it very slippery especially on mountain slopes
according to my guide, the cold weather came 2weeks earlier then usual ...
Stayed for one night and hope that the ice melts the next day,
but road condition still same, so we turned back to Lhasa :bheart: ...

somehow this shot reminds me of the tibetan monastery in the show 2012 where the flood waters rush over the mountain and the monastery on the mountain is the only thing standing in the flood water's way..
