Depends on where im going. 20mm or nokton 25. Mostly 20 as it's pancake & it's wide and bright enough.

2. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?

Yes everyday. Pen or ricoh gxr. Working bag is haversack. Weekends it's sling pouch or waist pouch which can put 1 more lens.

Usually its epl3 with 14 mm f2.5 PANASONIC lens. Panasonic NOT oly lens. 17 mm 2.8 from oly sucks on the new PENS.

If the X10 comes with me, then i throw the 45 1.8 on to complement the zoom.

Sling - sling is big enuff to hold both x10 and epl3.

2. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?

1. Lumix 20mm/1.7
2. Almost, I use SIGMA leather lens to carry my EPL-1+20mm or Tamrac bag if mount other lens.

1. Recently bought the PEN E-P3 SLVR DLK: 14-42mm II R, 40-150mm II; OMZ 50mm/1.8, ZD 11-22mm/2.8, FL-50, FL-20

2. Migrated into m43 from 43 DSLR: OLY E-330 > OLY E-620

Happy holidays to y'all!

What camera?
Just started with used EPL1 with kit lens.

Why/Who?
The main culprit is WongLP. He keeps very potent poison (cyanide laden). I am Nikon DSLR user. Not giving up yet cos I have too many good lenses and I enjoy using Nikon system (for many years...me old man)

Happy because I can use it for HDR too on camera with the bracket (I am not good in pp that's why I like to do on camera).... Too bad mine is entry level model so no multiple shot on timer. Can make do also la... I can share in this forum if not considered bashful because I am newbie to M4/3.

EP-3 with Panny 14mm f2.5, Oly 17mm f2.8 and kit 14-42mm

2. How did you come into m43 league and what was your previous camera used?
Wanted an everyday camera, previous Nikon D5100 user .. I miss it, if could afford i keep both.

my best friend 14mm f2.5..Wishlist = 20mm f1.7

4. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?
Everyday in my work bag. No sling or haversack, using handstrap.

Yes I bring along in my bag tog with lap top. Obviously now I carry the smaller cam. Always have my lx3 with me.

1. If u were to bring 1 lens out, which is it?
Leica 25mm F1.4

2. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?
Don't bring to work everyday, only if there's an occasion, that might change in future tho. :) Just sling, no haversack since i've only 1 lens ATM. Will try to use the 25/1.4 for a year before changing or upgrading. Aspiring street photographer here.

1. If u were to bring 1 lens out, which is it?
>> No fixed one. Depends on what I want to force myself to get used to.
Natural tendency is to use 20/1.7 as its small, fast and flexible FL, but starting to use 14/2.5 more and more (find it much better for environmental portraits)

2. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?
Don't carry it around everyday. Usually just sling the camera. But no qualms about just chucking it into the non-camera bag.

1. What is your m43 camera model and what are the lenses and accessories bought?
Pana GF1, Pana 14-45, Pana 20, Oly 45, Pana LVF1, Sunpak RD2000 Flash... My Pana 100-300 is collecting dust...

2. How did you come into m43 league and what was your previous camera used?
Upgrade from a PnS for indoor, low light, DoF reasons...

3. If u were to bring 1 lens out, which is it?
I wish I had the rumored Pana 12-35 F2.8(?).

4. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?
Using a Tamrac sling bag, always have it on weekends. Weekdays, no time to shoot.

1. What is your m43 camera model and what are the lenses and accessories bought?
Olympus E-P3 with kit lens14-42mm and the 45mm f1.8. Still contemplating on the VF2.

2. How did you come into m43 league and what was your previous camera used?
Owned PnS, then upgraded to DSLR (which I still love using but not so much the weight and size), then bought prosumer cam but still not satisfied cos it's not fast enough, so now the E-P3 reigns supreme.
Previous cameras were Canon or Sony (PnS).

3. If u were to bring 1 lens out, which is it?
Still the kit lens.

4. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?
Nope but I bring it in my handbag when I go out.

1. What is your m43 camera model and what are the lenses and accessories bought?
Bought 2 sets of Panasonic GX1X

2. How did you come into m43 league and what was your previous camera used?
Used pentax k-x and s95 before. fell in love with the X lens and design of gx1 when announced few months ago.

3. If u were to bring 1 lens out, which is it?
14-42 X lens.

4. Do you bring your m43 to work or to school everyday? You use sling or haversack?
Work = no , outing = yes . Using sling bag.

Bought into the m43 system with the gf1 when it was first launched and it kick started my interest in photography again (had a canon 300d previously but the then girlfriend/ wife now complained about the size and how conspicuous it was and after a while, I got lazy carrying the camera.) Now I'm back with a vengeance!

Recently returned from Antarctica and I brought 3 camera bodies (2x gf1, 1x GH2), 9 lenses (mix of zooms & primes covering range of 7mm to 300mm) and accompanying chargers +3 spare batteries. All this fit into a Kata haversack (plus my trusty MacBook pro with an extra 2.5 inch hard disk). I don't think I would have been able to carry that wide a range of gear in such a small haversack had I been carrying a regular Dslr system. (why 3 bodies? To reduce having to change lens and given it was a 20 day trip with no camera shop to buy a replacement in the event of an accident/ failure, I would still have something to shoot with!) - I also packed an oly xz1 with underwater housing but in a different bag. All my equipment survived the trip well (the snow, cold weather ice and sea). On a trip like this, multiple redundancy is very important. There were so many ruined cameras on the trip- I'm talking wrecked weather sealed slrs from sea water spray, snow and people falling overboard (ok, nobody fell overboard but a few did stumble during the wet landings and ended up with their cameras in the water)- another big plus for the m4/3 gear is they are so small and fit easily into regular sized zip lock bags for waterproofing for such eventualities!

Just bought a gx1x today. feeling really really guilty about it because I was telling myself not to buy the camera since I don't really need it since i still have my first gf1 and the gh2 (and i still have to get around to spelling the spare gf1 i bought for the trip). But it was so tempting... I was walking by CP in Marina doing other xmas shopping and went in to take a look... They had the beautiful gx1x on the shelf so I went in to try it... ( i was more interested in the x lens- that I honestly gave myself permission to buy if they had the lens only but no they did not have that option). Long story short, ended up buying the camera (supposedly the last piece) and got "the look" from the wife when I came home today. :p

Anyway, my kit tally:
1) pana gf1 -my first true love in photography. That's right, sorry to my old "ex", the canon 300d but you never inspired me the way the gf1 did. By right I should sell the gf1 now but for sentimental reasons i'll still keep it in my dry cabinet. It's faithful partner being the lvf1. Both having served me well for 2 years+
2) pana gh2. - my second love in photography.
3) pana gx1- verdict is still out there... Still feeling guilty regarding the splurge (1 night stand? :p)
4) pana 7-14mm
5) pana 14-45mm (from gf1 kit)- rightfully should go since I just got the 14-42x...
6) pana 14-140mm- rightfully should go now too after the trip...
7) pana 100-300mm
8) pana 14mm
9) pana 20mm (from gf1 kit)
10) pana Leica 25mm
11) pana Leica 45mm macro
12) oly 45mm
13) oly 14-54 mk2 with mmf2
14) pana 14-42x

14) pana 14-42x

Since u got so many lenses, may I know why u bought 45mm of both brands? 1 is macro 1 is f1.7 to be the reasons? A bit uncommon to buy both since their focal length overlap.

1. What is your m43 camera model and what are the lenses and accessories bought?
Olympus EP3 + Pany-Leica 25mm f1.4. Nothing since i am using the cleaning kit, bags and etc from my Canon.

2. How did you come into m43 league and what was your previous camera used?
Baby came and need to reduce load to help carry milk bottles. Just found out that the separate compartments of a camera bag also fits milk bottles (Not that i am doing it. Just experimenting.) Previous camera still my current camera. As above, need a lighter set up for a different situation.

EPM-1 with 14-42mmOly , 20mm Panny, 45mm Oly.
Accessories- EVF-VF3, nice small leather bag.

Was a m4/3 user before using GF-1 and EP-2 in 2009. After trying DSLR E-30 n X100, I still prefer to come back to m4/3 due to the flexibility, fast af (new Pens) and because Oly has listened by coming out 45mm.

No regrets for full converting, especially for the manual lenses fun that Pen brought along that the dslr can't...

Hi.. Wondering why dslr can't? I in fact thinking if it's worth to continue investing in m43 vs dslr.. I hv epl1, kit lens, Panny 20mm.. Thinking of zuiko 45mm n vf3
