Kampong Sunrise @ Sembawang

this is fantastic.

and you know me, i don't usually say "fantastic" easily. :bsmilie:

the mist, the layers here, and the color and the clouds, everything goes together very well.

can you show us a larger version? this probably does not do it justice.

thanks for your compliments nm :)

have put up link to the bigger pic. i was pretty lucky to have gotten there this morning with that layer of mist.. not everyday that its there. plus the colours in the sky were just amazing about 15mins before daybreak. didnt need to enhance too much colours in ps. :)

Very nice indeed..great work!!

wow, which parts of Sembawang are #28 and #30? #30 looks like the part in Punggol.

hey emlee,

hope this primitive map will help. it is located next to canberra link, sandwiched between a construction site and yishun industrial park A.

there are many trees in this big field which are similar to the punggol ones. sadly, i think they are gonna clear the whole field for more construction pretty soon. when i went there to shoot this morning the lalangs and tall grasses in some parts of the field (like those in #28) are all removed already :( however there are still nice trees and shrubs around, particularly as u venture further into the field.

thanks for dropping by :)

thanks revolver :)

thanks for the map. looks like an ever diminishing aspect of Singapore.

ya welcome mate. yeah its kinda sad isn't it. but i think sembawang has some other unexplored areas.. gonna try my luck at around avenue 7 over the next few days.

weather has been pretty shitty these past mornings, with the southwest monsoon blowing in thunderstorms in the early hours. headed to sembawang beach to try my luck, and was lucky to have a window of about 30mins before the storm clouds came crashing in again. c&c absolutely welcomed :)
