sit in the smoker's corner? ;)
hehehehe...

btw just curious: The Tokina 11-16 and 12-24 (Canon mount) have always had a built-in motor for AF, am I right?
Seems logical to me, because EOS mount is purely electronic (no slotted screw drive).
Why didn't they just do the same for Nikon version?

I only want the baba ghanoush. ;)

Cos canon advertises convenience. Nikon? Dunno? They want to be difficult on purpose? Maybe they did it for the lulz! :bsmilie:

Cars skating.... Wah today damn tiring! But lotsa nice captures! And Hydrophobia well used! :P

Good!
If not for the white barricade and your watermark, the reflection will be more complete and it will be a great photo.

Canon advertises convenience meh? where where?
Only 2 reasons I can think of (for excluding the motor) are weight and price. But I think there isn't much diff between the Canon (w motor) and Nikon (w/o motor) versions.... heehehehe

Anyway the 2nd version for Nikon mount seems to have included the AF motor, so I think no more issue for users of entry-level Nikons.

Good!

but if not for the barricade, wouldn't it be "messy" if there were a mishap on the track?

Manual focus ftw? LOL

Recently the summer blockbuster season has thrown up a number of superhero-style movies: X-Men, Green Lantern, etc...
So many superhuman abilities:
flying, shapeshifting, super strength, magnetism, etc...

I found out about a new superpower recently...
It's called...

I think you're asking for too much... if you can find a good spot, that's a +1, good angle another +1, good lighting +1, no barricade... I think -10... :bsmilie: On Saturday, I witnessed a dramatic crash after the heavy rain... Driver's leg broken into 4 pieces (from what I've heard), car front crushed until all the way towards the dashboard/windscreen area... What's lagi best? The heavy concrete barricade (not the plasticity ones you saw) moved by a few inches - it remained like that until end of race.

but if not for the barricade, wouldn't it be "messy" if there were a mishap on the track?

Ditto that. Because of the mishap on Sat, I believe they've added more concrete types along the walk-about stretch - quite a few meters worth....

Phew... still going through at least a 1000 worth of images for the two days... After selection process - boiled down to at least a few hundred sharp ones...
