Haven't dropped my D90 before so i cant say for the 2nd part. But when buying a 2nd hand camera i'll probably look at whether the camera functions properly first, then the cosmetics. As for whether it has been dropped before, i dont think it really matters much to me so long as i find that the camera is working perfectly

if bumped against table, chair, etc, I think the camera can handle. There will be some cosmetic damage, but it should function just fine. But dropped.... :o

I got no experience in that area, sorry...

the camera is functioning ok, the seller took a couple of photos and email to me. looks good. I will just take my time to consider. Anyway, didn't ask him to hold for me. Probably sold off to a less fussy buyer.

saw a few familiar names in the Nikon Kopi-o session next Friday.... attendance is already full :bheart:

It's like that one, always voice it out or else they will continue like nobody's business... :bsmilie: Well, glad for you that it's over ....

it is a place where your 5 senses ring alarm at ya.... when you first enter.... you will hear the sound of sawing, grinding, hammering.... kind of like a machine shop... then you will smell the blood and vomit... later when you enter the "chop shop" you will see vats of blood and human tissue... a minor pain and the dentist will start drilling on ya.... you will feel a part of you been saw and chiseled away....finally you will taste a mixture of your own blood, tissue and grinding sand in your mouth.....

better not to say :D

no point to create enemies...
just wanted to vent out my 'sian-ness' with the style of hard-sell.

oh...

my advice is, choose the camera based on how many of your friend uses it. :sweatsm:

actually you do have a point...

My main motivation for choosing Nikon at the beginning was because my dad got the D40 and I tried it and liked it (though I found it rather too small). At least now we can share lenses/speedlights.

unless the person like to be unique and don't want to share.... chose one whereby hardly anyone uses...... Mamiya!! this is what I will recommend.

Not really, I just close my eyes and think to myself that I'm in a butcher cum tech workshop... and someone is just tugging at my teeth... :bsmilie: Until the med starts to wear off...
