just curious if anyone here will buy a 2nd hand camera that has been drop before?
Is the D90 body able to take shock from the drop and function normally?

Haven't dropped my D90 before so i cant say for the 2nd part. But when buying a 2nd hand camera i'll probably look at whether the camera functions properly first, then the cosmetics. As for whether it has been dropped before, i dont think it really matters much to me so long as i find that the camera is working perfectly

you see it quite often in Newbies Corner, when someone asks for advice about camera choice.
Inevitably there will be someone (usually it's a Senior Member with 5-digit post count, but sometimes another fella) who will take the trouble to preach about how good the Sony Alpha system is....
well, I'm not saying it's no good... far from it.
But this style of brand hard-selling... just makes me disgusted.

if bumped against table, chair, etc, I think the camera can handle. There will be some cosmetic damage, but it should function just fine. But dropped....
I got no experience in that area, sorry...

These are the 2 great differences. NNB senior member to newbies like me. ZCA also. DD123 already senior member.
