hmmmm, looking at my schedule, the possible timings I can take photos will be evenings. Since it's summer and class probably ends fairly early (5plus), I should have time to catch sunset... :angel:
Streets... hmmmm... not comfortable with it, but I think I should get out of my comfort zone a bit hor... (and no, that doesn't mean I'm game for macro photography! )

yes loh... if not how to catch the "life" of a city (or country) without doing street photography.... first try smiling at the locals without looking sleazy...

You guys have seen my tripod hor? Would you think I was crazy to bring it on this trip? When slung across my back diagonally, it doesn't protrude at all.

Or would I be better off using a smaller tripod (and maybe my cute little Benro ballhead) ?
