In China Sirui is seen as the better brand. But Benro has more models to choose from, including some adjustable center column tripods that look like Gitzo Explorer.

No matters it is Benro, Sirui, Manfrotto, Gitzo, Silk, Weifeng, Giotto, Bogen......., as long as it is stable and meet to your needs, it is a good tripod.:angel:
Yup. but most of the cheaper weifeng tripods are not really stable.

oh btw I drove past the marina square area last night. Gosh the whole place looks like a mess now. You got F1, NDP, YOG....
hmmm... now I'm thinking that whole D90 TCSS session at Esplanade on wednesday is not such a bright idea...

Urm... we're shooting from Esplanade right? F1 runs through MBS, NTUC center, and Merly meh? :bsmilie: I'd assume a LE shoot from there still works fine right? I think the problem would arise when we shoot from the other side of the lake... Overblown lights and all...

And I wonder if the center column would fit Sirui's and be sold separately...
Otherwise, I'm going to send a customer request to Sirui to consider producing updates: alternative rotatable center columns so that they can be interchanged (for those serious into Macro and the likes). Or maybe that's in their plans which is still not realised at the moment? Time will tell...Mine came with an additional short column so that I can go REALLY low for crazy angles... (always forgot to bring when I go out for shoots....hiaz...) But now packed in my bag permanently...:sweatsm:
