No three people have been divided into the sky can not be
Too bad people do not mind adults, the stomach good punt

:dunno:

The whole statement means:
"A great person has large-hearted or magnanimous, even can can forgive those who’ve treated he/she badly"

Got it?

Since Jacobs is the one who wrote that 2 lines, I will give him the honors to explain it to you in plain English.

Haha, but then hor, young children must be spanked when young, else it is too late when older.

wahhhhhhhhhhhh :bsmilie:

err... I guess you're trying to praise me... if so... thank you thank you.

no la.. I'm just trying not to escalate the situation. Certainly in life I will rub some people the wrong way. Everybody has his/her own style of saying things.
I know sometimes I get too carried away with critique...

I fail CL1 in O levels also, but I got C5 for CL2.
But hor, 5 years in china. Now I can write contracts in Chinese. *haolian*

ok ok change topic:

just thinking aloud here...
With my current 're-org' of my dry cabinet's contents, I'm left with 12-24 f/4, 35/1.8, 50/1.8
and my dad has 18-105VR, 55-200VR, and an old MF Tamron for his FM2.

Would a 17-50 f/2.8 serve me much good in this case? I'm ok with the whole lens-changing business, so my 35 and 50 primes should do me fine.
Kinda conflicted about whether a fast telephoto zoom (eg. Tokina 50-1xx f/2.8 - forgot the long-end focal length) would suit my shooting style.

any comments?

I believe Bryan chinese level better than me..:)
I remember he corrected someone's chinese.... my eyes big big....
go in one eye, come out the other... :) hehehehehe

I would get something longer if I were you. The Tokina 50-135 f/2.8 seems like a good choice. Maybe you can see whether there are 80-200/2.8 or the Mark I of the N70-200/2.8 cheap cheap in the Nikon BnS or not.

Oh yah, the Tokina 50-135 is crop only so if you kanna poisoned to D700 in the near future then must change again

Sell off your 2 prime lens (35 & 50) and buy-in 17-50 f2.8.
For me both prime lens are redundant since 17-50 can cover the distance..:)

I have been hunting for the Tokina 50-135... It is no longer offered in Tokina brand. Only available as the Pentax 50-135, with a pentax K mount obviously.
:cry::cry:

Even end of last year, they were selling new for only 650 a piece..... and I did not get it back then... and used ones are hard to come by....

from past experienced i think most photographer love to share their knowledge and experience.. ive been some outing in malaysia they even like to discuss how to achive certain type of image etc...have'nt found damn2 type one la.. i guess it depends on individual who can accept c&c or not..ofcourse there's a reason why ppl c&c right? hehe..

anyway, last month i saw at malaysia forum(photomalaysia i think) the price for D700 drop already on most of the shop but since now nikon malaysia hav'nt update their website..
have u consider to buy at malaysia? ;)

Is the Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 II still available? That's another possibility.

Cannot sell 35/1.8!! Birthday present from gf :)
Hehehe...
telephoto to me... I found that I haven't had much need for it. When I was using the 18-135 kit, I was at the wide end most of the time.

C'mon nikon!!! If you don't make a small FX cam, please make a telephoto DX prime!! 85/1.8 DX?? :D
HHAHAHAHAHAHA

Warranty issues if I buy there. I don't travel up much.

I wish for D700 performance, but am happy with what I have for now :)

if u looking for a fast telephoto, than its either 70-200 vr1 0r vr2 from nikon or the sigma 70-200 hsm or the 50-150 2.8 agree with bro DD the tokina 50-135 is hard to come buy,

or the nikon ais 135 2.8, small compact but manual focus ar... since u rarely go tele that be cost saving and lighter too..

cheers
