Sadly speaking, I dun have much lenses at the moment( yet prices are going up!). But I am quite interested in the 70-200mm. Heard the Tamron f.2.8 one is good enough for outdoor portraits! I guess I will learn to shoot using zone focus method this time round.

I thought you are interested in my 50-135? Haha.

Hey Pentaxians, how about doing our May outing at the DBS Marina Regatta at the Waterfront Promenade @ Marina Bay on 18th May Saturday. There's 200m Dragon boat races from 9am & Cosplay Festival from 1pm.
For those who prefer to go on Sunday 19th the 500m dragon boat races start from 8.30am with other events throughout the day.
Free admission on both days.

I see a lot of good suggestions like DBS Marina Regatta and Fashion Steps Out.
However, as already mentioned by Fengwei, he's not free till end of month.
So that means the outing will be then (plenty of time for him to consider the options too)

But those events that can't wait (eg. Regatta, Fashion shoot, etc), I'd suggest you guys just start threads to look for kakis just like the macro outing that Doyle posted last week.

Erm... Allowed or not, i'm not sure. I believe yes, since many others were blasting away with their flash.

By "front row", i meant i got to literally make my own way right up to the barricade. Not so pro until can get VIP pass la.. LoL!

PS: After taking "some" shots, i had this evil idea to fix a snoot to my flash, with setting of 1/1 power, and intentionally blind the models for the heck of it.... Hey, the runway sure was REALLY long, gotta create some photo opportunity they say... (e.g. dazed models, falling down models, etc..) Hehehehe!!
