Suggestion: editing of post/thread

Wouldnt it be better if the posts and thread are editable.

so that the first post can be updated with and edited with the latest instead of having to scroll down for information or corrected mistakes.
and also voiding the need for having to create a new thread if there is a mistake in the first one.

just what i feel

threads not allow to edit is to protect the integrity of the original post.

just tested, threads/posts are editable, but you can only edit your own post/thread

threads in the marketplace are non editable
