yo just found out something intersting, yesterday i was back in Malaysia. while waiting for my GF, i went to a camera shop and i saw a white Pentax K-x. So i went on to ask the price, i was so shock that the salegal say RM2988 the kit is the normal 18-55mm kit only, no free gift somemore.

Wow like that i can everyday buy from Singapre and sell in Malaysia also can earn money lor;p even after a RM1000 cut from the RM2988

but this rule exclude computer hardware and software.... which mean Laptop overthere is lower cost!:bsmilie:

Are you looking to buying a new kx with the kits lens? The kx plus the kits lens are taken from local distributor, Emjay. If you don't see any stickers by Emjay warranty on the box, then you may have to question whether is it a grey set.

Grey sets tend to be cheaper but it does not come with warranty.
However, grey set applies to buying of lens only. Not too sure whether there are pentax grey lens. I only know there are grey sets for tamron or sigma lens.

yosha! i brought my K-x white today at alan photo trading for $785. went to quite a few places all no stock for white de. even got 1 shop tell me can buy K-x dual lens kit for $955. not sure true anot, duno he wan chop carrot me or what but i felt suspicious and left.

er, a small shop at 5th floor in funan. i think it's bally. they quoted me $955 for K-x white dual lens. i ask twice, DUAL LENS KIT for K-x WHITE?! and he told me yes. you can try your luck there. and if they have maybe you ask them reserve for you when they have stock?

yes. i rmb the price for dual lens kit. when he called for stock for K-x white, there was no stock. den he ask me if i wanted K-x duals lens kit for $955 becos they have stock for them. i rmb some black shop will use this kind of technique, so i just reject them and left the shop.

Don't know what's the price range, but SLR Revo at funan, it's selling the cleaning kit at affordable price. Think is less than 10dollars. Include a blower, cloth,brush n cleaning lotion.
