i know what to get for xmas this year.

a dell 30 inch monitor.i will want to shoot tethered, transfer to the com wirelessly and preview immediately.

you know the d200 lcd sometimes subtle 'mistakes' like these cant be seen.
now i know why pro's overseas shoot tethered.

learn to see the light on site and not on a screen
and from what you see learn to capture it as you see it

well i never knew modesty could seem wrong...

truly, my studio techniques are unrefined and unpracticed. i've had most of my training outside of a studio. in other words to put it bluntly and in a way discounting myself, i do not perform as well when i am able to control everything. i am inspired and work well with unforeseen circumstances, much like the box of chocolates, u never know wat u gonna get.

however in a studio, u shouldn't be saying that, especially not with the light.

what i commented above, was taught to me by pple much better than me, and they aren't even "full time pros". that's the truth.

regarding the 30" dell, save it and get the 24" or 27". the 30 isn't good. imho.

mine's the 27 inch.not the 30.

The 30" is not good. Stick to the 27".

As for the picture, I have to agree.... Lose the watch. It's too much of a bright burst of blue! If you used one of those very delicate, lacey, super-fragile looking watches it would look better. Or a nice pearl bracelet to complement the necklace.

Also, notice how the watch is covering up the pearls. It's a bit distracting.

Dell is sending replacement sometime this week.
