Nice shot... I like the composition and the tones too. Very well exposed on the rocks...Nitpick - would crop the top about 1cm. just me...
Thanks for sharing...![]()

That's a good point! didn't notice the dead space above till u mentioned it. thanks!
Nice images, especially the beach ones. I can understand your thought process behind each of them as there is a tinge of similarities in our style of shooting beaches. Keep up the good work!

were you at lower seletar this morning? Think I saw you there. you were standing at the edge between the 2 platforms? nice one btw!
Thanks! the photo you talked abt was taken using a 3-stop GND i think...
the cheapest way to get some ND filters would be to use square filters (+filter holder of course) from Tianya. I got a ND8 (3-stops), a GND, the filter holder & 77mm ring adaptor (to attach the holder to my Sigma 10-20) for ~$50 i think. But be warned that tianya filters are far from neutral (very strong magenta cast sometimes)... the price is much more palatable though! In comparison, a single GND from Hitech (which are of better quality) can cost twice that already. Do some research on ND filters on the forum first before buying so you get the stuff u need! good luck!![]()
Yes that was me! So sorry if i was blocking you... i tend to camp out at one spot waiting for the right light. It didn't really work out the way I thought it would though! Thanks for dropping by!![]()
What are the settings you use? was it something like F16, ISO 200, speed 1min
did u use a half filter or whole filter? meaning GND on top and transparant below...
nice pics
hey no worries. you weren't blocking! first time at seletar today and must say I would like to re-visit soon. hope to see you around next time! cheers
I think u're still not sure what exactly a GND filter is. Check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduated_neutral_density_filter
The settings were 10mm, f11, 3s X 9 (multiexposure mode). The exact settings will vary depending on the lighting conditions on the day itself & the GND you use. cheers!
thanks. multiexposure? so need to do a HDR after that?
