Came back from a trip to Penang, hope to find the wall art but doesn't always go according to plans, so just managed to get these shots off the streets.

Here he was waiting at the road side at one corner of Sungei Road... waiting for one o'clock to arrive so that he can set up his wares. I warmed up to him a little and ask him about the impending closure of Sungei Road and also asked him how long he has been doing this... he replied he cannot remember but he has been doing this for a long time and this will be his last year literally as our government wants to shut this place down. I ask him if I can take a photo of him and he jovially and graciously agreed.
I also managed to strike up some small talks with other vendors and many are photo shy saying there are many here that owes loan sharks money and thus not wanting to have their pictures taken, I obliged but I still hope to go back again when this flea market is in its full swing of things to try to record down some of the lives of these vendors, our fellow countrymen.
