Hi Michael,
Really nice shots you have there. I've always loved the genre of street photography. Inspired by ppl like Henri Cartier Bresson. One thing I must say that I am quite amazed that most ppl actually don't mind you taking their photos. I know from previous posts that you shoot openly. Did most of the ppl actually know that you were taking their photos? And if so, how did you approach it? Like did you smile a lot or ask permission first?
The dilemma I face most of the time is that I want to ask permission first, but then by doing so, I lose capturing "the moment", yet I risk offending them if I don't ask first.

Just curious what camera you using.

5D? (:

I try to take them unnoticed but not stealthy like a stalker.
Would be best to capture them in their elements, but if I do get noticed, just give a smile and continue shooting, instead of hiding behind a tree. Most will not mind. Some may even request you send them a copy of the shot ;)

Just curious what camera you using.

5D & 40D and my camera phone

wow, even the camera phone shots look fantastic. Eh, what are you doing posting pics at 3 am? No need to sleep ah? :bsmilie::bsmilie:

Jokes aside. I must say that some camera phones can really take fantastic shots. The lines btw camera phones and entry level PnS are really blurring.
