Hi all, i would like to know if i did not have a prime lens will it be suitable to go for the event? i just have kit lens >< (beginner).. i have recently bought a flash gun but haven't got a chance to use. Plan to go on saturday noon.. Wish to have some advice on what else equipment i shld bring.. thanks

yup i think kit lens with flash gun is enough.. a diffuser will be good hope you got it

haha actually i dont really know how to use a flash too (learning in progress), as im using prime also so i think i wont be using but will bring along just in case haha
if u do not own a flashgun then take a tissue paper and wrap ard ur built in camera flash, works all the time (im not bs-ing) if ur using a 50mm prime it's ok just that I focus on portrait and nth else (group or full body can sort off forget about it) during the last cosplay but a 17-50mm will be ideal for cosplay .. If ur talking about canon 18-55/135/200mm it's more than enough, play ard with it and when u think u r getting better, get a better lens ..
