After The Rain

post-12-1139373706.jpg

I spent an hour to think of the presentation, "Should the blur image be the one at the left or the one at the right?"

When confronted with the theme "Glance", I tend to put the blur image on the right.
The meaning will goes, "1. Oh, it was raining. 2. Okay." The first image will show the condition that it was raining while the second image just show that the viewer doesn't really bother about this condition. The viewer just give it a pass, he do not wish to really studying it. He only give a glance.

I try to did it the other way around and the meaning changed again.
Now I interpret it more to 'the feel after the rain'. The first image show what it feel after the rain, while the second image show the physical sign of this condition. Instead of giving a glance to the condition, now the viewer give a glance to the feel.

Personally I find that rain bring certain moods and feels to me. Sadness, anger, hope, you name it. However there are times when i just stopped and tell myself, "It's just a rain - there is nothing to worried about."

hey, the playing around of the sequential juxtaposition of images to form meaning is something like motion picture editing eh?

 idea for next week's theme..hehe..
