i think the real deal about this place is the manner the waves break upon the shore, very interesting..

Misty Punggol II

7 Image HDR/DRI using ND 8 hard graduated filter + Tiffen ND 1.2 filter. Punggol Beach, Singapore.

Forgot to upload this. Essentially a faster shutter speed of this shot:

Was taken much later and skies rapidly changing light changed the mood of the scene's atmosphere as well.

I like this.

Thanks alot for your comment Brownboots!!! :) I agree as well, but provided it does give good results! Or else its pointless sacrificing something that doesn't turn out too well.... :D Happens all the time to me though, haha.

Well guys, the Sky Gods might have been angry for the past few days, and there has been no sun since, I'e decided to share stuff that I have taken over the months in Singapore.

Repentance

Shot this with my old Canon EOS 400D that I used to own.

Camera: EOS 400D

Lens:
100-400mm f5.6 - 6.3 L

Settings:

1/200
f5.6
320mm
ISO 640

Enjoy!! :D

I think its very artistically taken. Nice

Thanks for viewing!! Yep, the skies were good, the sun was up, and so were the seaweeds, all soaked with that rich shades of green. :)

Changi Beach 2: Lost Coast

5 Image HDR/DRI using ND 8 soft graduated filter + ND4 filter for smoothed sky effects. Changi Beach, Singapore.

Yep, believe it or not, this IS Singapore. It's an area that is somewhat only accessible during very low tides. Was actually 15 minutes late for the sunset, but managed to capture the blue hour from 1915 hours onwards.

Great works, good to see more people exploring Singapore, very adventurous indeed. Love the light in the last piece. Hoping to see more works. Cheers

No problem, I'm glad you liked it. :) It took me a while to get there but it was really worth it. Please come back for more. :) Thanks!

Haha, it was taken near the Changi Beach Club house, walk to the left then under the broadwalk should get you there to the extreme left. Only accessible on low tide. :)

Black Life [Vertorama]

2 Image DRI vertorama using ND 8 soft graduated filter + Hoya NDX400 9 stop filter. Pasir Ris Park, Singapore.

Was a really cloudy sunrise when I shot this, so I had to think of something else to make full use of the given situation. Sometimes, a photographer is thrown into a situation whereby he has to adapt and try something different.

Corners have been softened on purpose due to noise however.

this one is gorgeous! the light is brilliant. Would it not be possible to give the giant rock more space on the right though? lovely colours! good job!

Exactly Stuck!! ;) I actually wanted to do Vertorama, but well it seem to look good, plus it wasn't really so interesting to look at the right, and I wanted to focus on the lower part of those rocks that leads the eye to the horizontal rest line. :) Don't worry mate, from what I seen September is a great month for sunset photography as the tides in the evening are way much lower than in the morning now! :) Thanks btw!!

One more from Pasir Ris Park this morning. Sky wasn't good, so I had to try something else instead.

Beside the main subject , I really love the way how those small stone lead our eye .
