Mall of Tomorrow

2 Image HDR/DRI 11 image panorama. The Star Vista, Singapore.

Taken sometime back in early March after a few explorations to hunt for cool nice angles about this uber awesome mall, didn't had ample time to post process it. This is also my third attempt shooting the same POV as I didn't liked how the previous' turned out compositional wise. In fact, this was the shot that I was talking about having problems shooting and post-processing. I still don't really like it because it's still not good enough but the hell with it; it's done.

Should have taken a really underexposed shot to fix the highlights at the top left corners. I probably underestimated the super bright lighting of that area.

Night Of The Enlightenment

2 Image HDR/DRI 6 image exposure stacking of the Marina Bay Sands lightshow. Chinatown, Singapore.

It was after work and I had my camera gears with me. So, I've decided to head nearby to execute this. Seeing that this view has been taken over a gazillion times, I've decided to take a different turn and wait for the lightshow of the Marina Bay Sands that is happening behind the buildings.

Initial plans were to create a 3 image vertorama to include more foreground space but after post-processing this single frame was much desired. The whole idea was about the emphasis of the skyline, and the temple isn't the "main character" of the show.

Solitary Beginning

4 Image HDR/DRI using GND 0.9 soft + Lee Big Stopper for smoothed cloud effects. Sky and road ways tone mapped using Nik Software. Bishan Estates, Singapore.

At the top floor, the sun was hidden behind the thin veil of clouds, the streets were solemn, the winds were strong, the environmental setting subdued... but when risen at 0815am led a golden shine that lasted for a minute that only paved at a specific path. A thin layer of mist lies ahead is there to say life in a day begins knowing problems that lie ahead.

hi! do you mind tell me what block and avenue this is at? It will be a great help for a beginner to start my landscape photography.

Hey there, this is at Bishan St. 12, BLK 128. :) There are also other blocks in the area worth checking out as well. ;)

Nearly forgot about this. Time for something waaaaay overdue.
