$300 for 10 hours, must have good enough equipment to shoot low light stage performance

Sorry bro.
I think you won't be able to find here.
Pro won't take as the pay is low
Beginner won't take as it is working hours and no one can take such a long leave
It is not a school holiday either.

So sorry the performance time not confirm yet..

You are right, thank you for the advice.

Due to low light and dancer/performer movements and long range from stage, this job looks like require a high iso (6400+) capable camera and fast long zoom, 70-200 2.8 at least, 300mm better. Plus no flash allowed for performance. Does not seem easy.

So you will not have much takers that are capable, or have the time, or suckers for low pay.

Thank you for all the response & advice, we have found a nice photographer for the job above.
Thread closed,

These type of thread usually ends with we found nice photographer. LOL.

Congrats anyway.

Truth is, there really is a insane number of freelancers out there. It's the buyer's market right now, no longer the seller's.

Depends if the photographer carved a niche. If the photographer are doing something that every uncle with camera is doing, then of course its a buyers market. And the TS is hiring off CS instead of contacting pros or putting out a tender, so what are we expecting in the first place?

Do u mean Uncle are lousy and cannot make it?
Poor uncle :(
