What is "strobing"? Doesn't it include a lighting effect? The flickr group has samples that have nothing of this sort. I'm confused (and admittedly ignorant).

Over here, strobing does not represent repeating flash techniques.

Rather, it's more on how you utilise the light from off camera or on camera flashlights to improve your photographs.

Often we would be talking more on off camera flash techniques with light modifiers.

If anyone is interested in moving their flash off camera -- i am selling my Wireless Flash Trigger which I got from Paul Quek of TagoTech: here.

It's been working fine. With my D70+sb600+sb24, I am able to sync up to 1/640! (though you will read about guys on the strobist blog and related flickr pools that are able to sync with these 'ebay tiggers' up to 1/1250! i have no idea how they get sync that fast)

I'm selling becasue a friend just sent me Cactus Triggers from GadgetInfinity.com in HK so this is a spare set and I'm keeping the newer one. I had asked my friend to send ths Cactus Triggers thinking that their electronics may be a bit better than the TagoTech ones and I could get faster sync speeds. I don't get any faster with the Cactus ones so kudos to Paul and the stuff he sells in Tagotech -- they were cheaper and worked just as well

As I said, am selling because it's a spare set and some of you are only starting to move the flash off the camera and this is a great kit to start with.

Tagotech sells 1 transmitter/receiver and one extra receiver for SGD72. You can have mine for 40 bucks. PM if interested.

Better off getting a hot-shoe adapter,
