Is it taken at Tanjong Pagar?

Thank you guys for dropping by and the usual support...really appreciate it.

Hi Kent,

It was taken near Changi CP6 and that is the pier for boat ride over to Pulau Ubin

My favorite lone tree.

Actually I felt that the bottom right of the tree branches are slightly overdone with the dodging. Or is it due to afternoon sun? I would have cropped out the bottom left rock to let the foreground rock lead to the tree for a stronger composition. Shot not as contrasty as I would have expected of your style.

Thanks. Your photos are really awesome although they are black & white.

Cheers KT!

The shadow on the bottom right three is from the morning sun.

I dont feel quite good for this image on the choice of SQ crop as its left heavy...hmmm...

Yes, perhaps cloning of the bottom left rock would balance it more...

Trying to be mild lately; that is why you can observed for the last few, its not so contrasty as am using a white canvas as BG to check the balance of highlights and shadows trying to bring out the best grey tones from it...:)
