Thanks for the inspiring shots! after so much poison from CS from smooth creamy water photos, i had to come across your thread. kind of like adding venom haha.
I tried a ND4 filter for my honeymoon but it's not strong enough to give me the extra exposure time needed, so i finally bought myself a ND400 last week, but have not have the chance to try it out except in my room, with the only moving object being myself.
not easy managing this filter i think, while i noted the need to prefocus, using MF, multiply exposure time by around 512 secs, i'm not sure if my 400D can handle the eventual image clarity well (some of my long exposure shots are quite grainy, and i still haven't cleaned the spots on my sensor). hope to try it out soon with some real moving water!
Happy new year!
Happy new yr 2010 to you too!! Your thread reminds of of a book I read in Taka's Kino, I cant remember the title, but I am going back to buy that book and will keep you informed of the title, not sure if you've seen it before. It is the work of the author similar to yours, but all in Hongkong as he wanted to portray HK is a way that people had never seen before. Just like your works of Singapore here:cheers:
