in today's ST, in a World Bank survey of 209 countries, Singapore scored 43.2 ranking(percentile) on political, civil and human rights vs other criterias eg. govt effectiveness, political stability, regulatory quality, rule of law and control of corruption. on these other criterias, singapore scored an average of above 90 percentiles.
why did we scored so badly, at 43.2 percentile on political, civil and human rights? puzzling, isn't it?
