 Any idea why is it so? ;p
Ajeesh said:I thought (if I am wrong please correct me), ttl, d-ttl and i-ttl are basically some protocols to communicate the camera with flash and the other way around. In that case providing a backward compatability is not all a problem.
If I have to choose between SB-800 and Sb-600, i preffer the first one. Do you have any idea how much does it cost?
Ajeesh said:At last I got an SB-800.
Thank you for all your comments.

Guess like what I've read, most ppl decided to settle for SB-800 in the end.poh6702 said:After I bought the D70, initially was quite heart pain to part $600+ for SB800, I bought a secondhand SB28, this flash works well with D70 except that have to manually set the ISO, Apperture and zoom to match with camera setting. The result was good as long as you accordingly. The SB28 can go below F5.6, so even if you have F2.8 len, have to set to F5.6 in D70 when you want to use the flash.
I finally bought the SB800 from MS Color @ $620 net inclusive of GST, SB800 is designed to work with D70.
