I am using the SC-28 on SB-600...

thanks for info! I got the SC-28 and SB-600 liao! Yesterday started using my new flash @ PULAU UBIN, still need more practice to get the hang of using external flash.

Actually 2nd hand price doesn't seem cheap. most ppl r selling 290 , 315 etc... 1st hand will be more worth it.. furthermore some oredi no warranty...

thanks for info! I got my SB-600 (2nd hand from another CS member) at $250 and yar... no more warranty liao but its ok lah... as long a it is in good working condition, i am ok with it.

Bought a SC-28 at $40 from a friend.

If you wait, you can get new one $250 from Tongeh. No warranty also (7 days personal warranty only).

alamak! would have waited if I wasn't going Pulau Ubin yesterday. I wanted to get the flash before I go Pulau Ubin so that I can practice using external flash. Nvm... quite happy with purchase anyway.

alamak! would have waited if I wasn't going Pulau Ubin yesterday. I wanted to get the flash before I go Pulau Ubin so that I can practice using external flash. Nvm... quite happy with purchase anyway.

Yes, gallery is better. So many people can see and give you good or bad comments. Learn from that.

Don't worry about bad pictures, we are here to learn and improve our skill and knowledge. And we are not all the pro. Even pro last time also newbie.

Anyone can advise any other good flash to buy for my D50 besides SB600 & SB800? I posted @ B/S but nobody selling leh.... sianz... sigh....

the price difference on both speedlite is noticeable.
i think you no need those advanced features for sb-800 on your D50, of course everyone wants better, but one sb-800 is already half of your D50 price, you won't use it for half of your shooting time.
SB-600 is already more than enough for you.
do not look for sigma speedlite or other 3rd party for just saving few bucks, but sb-600 and sb-800 are no difference for you.
