That curve is really nice. How long was your exposure?

Nice~ Love the leading lines~ Plus the cloud movement and "still" water.

I've been reading through the links you have given in your minimalistic series and wow, actually a lot of work to be done ya? The cleaning, burning, dodging, gradient...

 for you.

Oh ya, did you tried to liquidfy the pillar on the furthest right? Seems like the bottom of the pillar a bit curvy to the left...based on my eyes la.

Oh.. reminds me of my old days when i have to travel to China for work. Fly Fly Fly... Till the soul also FLY away... :bsmilie:

Ok, crap talk aside, i kinda missed those days (good $$$). Grounded for too long liao. :(

Have a safe trip~

I love how it was made black & white... was the sky really like that or did you edit / clone it?

thomas, i love that last photo, but there's just something about it that i can't place my mind on.

part of the reason is as yapster says, those pillars on the right look iffy to me - don't know if it's an optical illusion.

i think the main thing though, is that the photo seems to give the impression like it is leaning to the right. i know that the horizon on the left looks perfectly legit, but for some reason - i think horizontal perspective distortion is the cause, the part to the right is obviously tilted to the right.

lastly, i thought if it were possible, moving to the right here and attempting the same thing would be better, the curve would probably be a lot more dynamic than it is now.

Yes, I do agree with the bridge seems leaning to the right but I had check many times on the horizon flatness, the verticals (except for the 1~2 pillars on the right which need liquify) and the pillar flatness are flat but still seems a little awkward...

I have never spent so much time processing an image but this, I spent >2 weeks on it...:bsmilie: as I like it very much, to double check every angle but still there are flaws...hmmm...

perhaps, i was hastily compose for this bridge as was rushing over to another place to meet my colleague for dinner. maybe i need to re-visit Macau again soon as there are so much I yet to capture as time limit...

i will look into the bridge perspective again and lets see what I can do...:)

Thanks for the comment WK!

Thank you Leong! ;)

Hi John, appreciate your visit and glad u like it.

No edit or cloning done for the sky except for burning and dodging to bring out the contrast.

Cheers!

Thomas

Thank Woon Lay for the visit and appreciate your comment...

I really sucks in 'liquifying' but still learning how to do it...:) agree that the pillars on the right most looks kinda strange/akward....will definately need to look into it again..

I wish I can reduce my time abroad to be with family but at times, need to take close look to the progress over here...

Cheers,
Thomas

My "liquidfying" also sucks... Always miscue... :bsmilie:

As for time, a lot of people are traveling for work these days. So, no choice la. It's for your family after all. ;)
