...This image contains to 2 exposure manually blended, one for FG and one for Sky blended together. It was a good day for shooting under cloudy and sunny day. So I took my time for capturing this subject. Preventing over-expose to both FG and Sky, am using 10 stops ND while for the sky, had to stack another 6 stops ND on 10 stops ND making it 16 stops ND to achieve the result I wanted. Tediuos but worth it and of course, I've got a sunburn!...

...from the archieve once again. Like many, I myself had fallen into a dilemma in producing; so call GOOD photography as of late. I was caught up in having hard time finding a good composition; (or should I say unique without breaking the rules) and also the ultimate challenge of; producing a high quality black and white photography. Thus, trying composing (and at times; I just deliberately compose and shoot for the sake of getting something during an outing thinking that its a waste if go home empty handed) and processing with using high key...low key...balancing of grey tones while maintaining good range of tonal range...blah..blah..blah..etc...etc..
Still I find it not good enough or justify myself to upload the photo as comparing to the great LE; black and white photographers over the internet; and mainly in flickr community which I usually find inspiration. Processing takes longer than ever and most of the time, it ended up in the garbage bin/scrap. Thus, I am lost in findings my way in processing quality black and white images.
It just sucks...anyway, sorry for the blah..blah..blah. Guess had to stop complaining or should I say whining!

The path to technical perfection is endless and equally frustated at time, but every roadblock that you clear, you will achieve greater heights.
Sometimes, when i am technically braindead, i will go out and shoot a different genre of photography. I will tell myself, today i am not going to edit any of the photos, i am not gonna keep any of the photos today, i will just shoot, not for portfolio sake, not for great photo sake. I shoot because it is what i love to do.
Normally after a day of aimless shooting, i feel much refreshed(Mentally
) for my next shooting. I have more ideas, and eager to perform.
P.S Although i said not to keep the photos, i still keep it and after few months if i remember, i will view the photos to see what the hell did i shot that day.
