actually i wonder how i got it too. me never gave them my addess b4. i guess it is just one of those normal adverts which they give out to everybody, like those macdonald's leaflets.

dunno, Sony love me, always send me their new catalog... same like ikea...

I don't know how those who bought the Alpha when 1st launched feel about the current promotion. At least for me, I am disappointed... The camera literally devalued about 500+ dollars over just 2.5months !

At launch month (Aug) - Free gift 1GB MS
At Comex (end Sep) - 1GB MS Stick, "Exclusive" GPS module
Now - 1GB MS Stick, GPS module, Photo storage (80Gb) video viewer

And the Anti-dust mechanism does not work. My alpha gives a black spot on all my photos. I need to send the camera for servicing today....

nothing is 100% proof, so i still have my trusty sensor brush... only thing is my spinning device died on me...

DSLR is another electronic comodity. Price will always drop after you have purchased it. If you have been using your camera well for the last 2.5 months and have been happy with the photos you have taken with it, you should be happy with it. Invest more on good quality lens if you find your current lens limiting.

Is worst if you are buying new car, price can drop as much as $5000 in one week.

Its just a matter of rarity that kept the price up.
They do not have the item in high capacity hence putting a high
premium so as to limit "customer asking for it".

It would probabaly take a while maybe 2~3 generation of DSLR probabaly to
have the lens reaching like Canon's price.
