Nope. only 16GB that is Class 10. It also comes with Class 6. Need to check before paying the $$$. The 64GB SDHX only comes in Class 4. Was at Vector Magnetic to claim the Kata pouch and ended paying to upgrade to a camera bag. I think it's worth.

That is a bit ridiculous man. Even a cheap entry Dslr will come with the caps for the lens and camera. I'm at least expecting a cheapo snap on body cap.

Does the single lens set manual say that any of the above are included for those who have bought it yesterday?

I suggest you should wait for the sets that come with the cap if it is very important to you or wait for the dual lens kit.

Why would the body cap only come with the 18-200mm lens and not with the single or dual lens kit? Is it because the 18-200mm is so big that Sony don't expect users to keep the lens mounted on the camera body. This also don't make sense as users could always mount the 16mm or 18-50mm and keep the 18-200mm separately ie Sony expect the users to use the 16mm and 18-50mm as body cap if they don't buy the 18-200mm.

This is the absolute extreme measure in cost cutting by a camera manufacturer... to save on supplying a body cap as a standard accessory.

Psalm27, my point is the same as what tomcat noted re the caps. They are not deal breakers, but just things that you're so used to when buying an interchangeable lens camera.

For those who have not been able to go down to try the camera, took a series of sample shots today for anyone who wants to view, here are some (no people shots as I don't believe in posting photos of the sales folk in the shop out of respect for their privacy - they were nice enough to let me try the camera out extensively and also brought out the flash to let me test):

All shot in jpeg, -0.3Exp Comp. AWB tends to be on the warm side I find. I balanced the whites on the ISO6400 shot for sample. I suspect the files could do with a bit more sharpening.

Given with consideration the negatively of this camera given by dpreview.... which the idiotic reviewer emphasized repeatedly on the handling and iauto mode.. and some rants how the camera is not any better than some of yr existing dslr (cropped 1.5,ff and even the m4/3)
Here some of the real life usage of the NEX 5 which i had the good chance of handling for the last 3 days, comprised of the followings a test of the camera capability in good and occasionally challenging high contrast scene during the sunny day shoot, an event coverage and lastly a model shoot on Sunday.

Pics re sized for uploading purpose,no sharpening and nil pp is done to the following shots

without HDR
the shadow detail is still visible..just look at the foliage of the trees

with HDR AUTO ON
the detail is more visible this time round

from my observation NEX 5 auto hdr is very subtle without being too unnatural

Using of pano mode for portrait(upward position)u just look at the dynamic range of the nex 5 shot.. this is something which the old camera like the km5d and 7d unable to handle well

Marina barrage
some shot taken from the MB...the kite in flight was taken in a mode with the center focus 18-55mm kit.

for those accustom with this kind of shot..should know it not easy to nail a small subject at far distance....nex 5 however handle it with ease....of the many shots i had taken..only one is visibly a bit soft but still usable

Collected my Nex 5 just now, some info to share:
- Only black color, no silver.
- Nex 3 not here yet.
- No accessories for Nex yet also, no screen protector, no leather case.

Those want to buy must act fast, heard stock is limited this round.

Taiwan need pre-order and heard can be collect in 1st week of July. So quite many Taiwanese already imported Nex from Japan, they are willing to pay higher price. Rich... :bigeyes:
