Sony Taipei will take orders from next week and camera will be delivered on 1st week of July. The Nex 5 with dual kit is NT23000. But there is no international warranty.

Nex5 battery life really bad. Definitely need another 1-2 batt if u are going on holiday!

Yes, agree this. The battery can last half day only. So if travel from morning to late evening, need extra 2 backup. :cry:

Yah the battery life is very close to dismay . Turning it on for 10 mins to load pictures already 3% gone . Dunno whats the issue that making it suck too much power , i suspect its the AF . Hope this gets resolved with firmware updates

Heh its okie, you get more time to play with the camera. I'm still waiting for the silver, so in the meantime just upgrading my Lightroom to v3 to counter the BBB : P

I think the NEX3 in white looks v nice and will match both black and silver lens nicely. Too bad NEX5 doesn't have that color.. yet. Knowing Sony, will have more colors after a while... like the PSP.
