Is it a good idea to pair 24-70mm with A6300? Need a fast zoom with fast AF speed also.
Not a good idea.

went to 313 to touch the new G master lens, too bad 70-200 isnt there yet.
not sure is it just me, the 85m doesnt seem to be as quick as 24-70 f2.8 in focusing

cant believe the 24-70 is heavier than the canon 24-70 f2.8 mkii
It could because bcos F1.4 depth of field is shallow. 85mm f1.4 focused at subject 3m away on a6300, the DoF about 6.4cm while 70mm at F2.8 is about 19cm.
Does that mean that the lens are for sale?
The New G Master lenses sure hits the right spot!
I've also went down n had a quick hands on. I even use my own Memory card. The 24-70 indeed focuses very quickly..the 85 is tad slower.. but still not that bad..given if you consider what it is made for and mostly used for.
Bokeh is great but.. not entirely circular as it was being advertised. (only afew are circular the rest..not really.. but the good thing is. Inside the bokeh balls..there is no "onion rings" unlike the FE55 and FE35). If you get what i meant.
I also see Green fringing as well.. Sometimes..can be quite bad too.
Lens is Sharp and weight is alright tho. (85 GM)
on side note. It is really quite a pity or rather fail that 313 does not have both Batis for testing.
Agree... The fringing is bad.. Hopefully it will get better when the production version is out...
