You can try buying from Rakuten. Service fee plus shipping is about $1,630. Only downside is lack of warranty.

nope, no deposit from me, just left my name with Cathay Photo. thinking of removing my name from the list as the EF 85 1.8 seems to work well with metabones on the a7r2

Which shop ? SLRR ? I never put any desposit for pre-orders usually. (So far i think only Sony cameras for their pre-order promotions for the lock-in of the freebies)

I didn't and I guess it's prolly a good thing... Knowing the lens prolly won't come soon. Then again when the stock is here, you guys will get it first... Either you pay and wait it out or you have the option of going for other alternatives.
